Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are pleased to extend a warm invitation to each of you to attend the Katy Texas Stake Conference, which will take place August 22-23, 2026. Elder Daniel L. Harris, Area Seventy, willpreside over the conference.

We prayerfully seek the Lord’s direction in organizing this conference, and we assure you that the shared messages will strengthen our faith and help us become better disciples of Jesus Christ. We invite you to prayerfully prepare for the conference by reviewing the messages from the most recent General Conference and inviting your ministering families and non-member friends to join you.

The conference sessions are as follows:

Leadership Meeting:

Saturday, August 22nd, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in person at the Katy Stake Center, along with a Zoom Steam, as needed.

Invited to attend: All stake council and ward council members, along with theirrespective presidencies, including secretaries, are invited to participate.

Spanish and Mandarin translation will be available for this session

Adult Session:

Saturday, August 22nd, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in person at the Katy Stake Center.

We encourage all members age 18+ to participate in this wonderful session of our stake conference.

Spanish and Mandarin translation will be available for this session

General Session:

Sunday, August 23rd, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. All members of the Katy stake are invited to attend this session in person at the Katy Stake Center. This session will also be broadcast to both the Heritage Bluff and the Sealy buildings, for those who prefer this option.

Spanish and Mandarin translation will be available for this session

We kindly ask that all attendees be seated and reverent ten minutes prior to the start of each meeting. We will have Mandarin and Spanish translation by headset and closed captioning. Those needing the closed captioning translation of Mandarin and Spanish will be able to use the reserved seating on the right and left sides of the chapel in order to see the TVs that will be set up to the right and left of the pulpit. Please also plan to carpool to ensure adequate parking for all attendees.

For any members who feel that in-person attendance is not possible (Handbook 29.7), there will be a live stream of the Saturday Evening and Sunday Morning Sessions of the Stake Conference.

Please contact your bishop, who will be able to authorize the Zoom link details for remote participation in this conference.We hope that you will make preparing for and attending each of these stake conference sessions a priority. As you do so, we know that you will hear the voice of the Lord to inspire you and uplift you according to your personal needs and desires. We look forward to being with you as we fellowship with one another and strive to become more like Him.
